# Attested interpretive units

An attested interpretive unit is a selected canonical statement with a claim class, authority scope, source path, canonical text and SHA-256 digest.

The digest verifies integrity of the canonicalized unit. It does not prove truth, external acceptance, crawler obedience, model compliance or interpretive fidelity.
