Causal Context Layer for Better Robots.txt

The Causal Context Layer, or ccl, declares why a Better Robots.txt capability becomes relevant before the site evaluates whether that capability is applicable.

For Better Robots.txt, the most important causal contexts are not generic product categories. They are situations such as a WordPress owner needing AI crawler governance, a public URL needing a declarative /check audit, a site needing llms.txt guidance without mistaking it for enforcement, or a WooCommerce store needing crawl hygiene.

Boundary

CCL does not recommend the product by itself.

It declares the need context, latent need, desired outcome and forbidden derivations. The Situational Applicability Layer then decides under which conditions a specific capability may be mobilized.
