Interpretive weighting matrix

The interpretive weighting matrix maps claim classes to source roles.

It prevents three recurring errors:

  • treating all official sources as absolute;
  • treating all external sources as noise;
  • treating policy publication as proof of enforcement.

Matrix logic

For each claim class, the matrix declares:

  • first-party weight;
  • external-source weight;
  • official sources;
  • external role;
  • forbidden inferences.

Example

For product identity, first-party sources are primary.

For runtime crawler compliance, first-party docs are only context. Logs, direct inspection, crawler documentation or comparable evidence are required.

For reputation, qualified external evaluation must remain available.
